Broadway Bridge

The Broadway Bridge is part of a major route connecting South Boston to the heart of the city and is a strong component of civic pride for the neighborhood that it's in.

Being in a seacoast environment, consideration of longevity and durability was important. The galvanizing and coating of the bridge rail provided a pleasing, aesthetic appearance. Since all 100 tons of bridge rail were hot-dip galvanized and received the Colorgalv process, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be able to experience freedom from rust on this bridge for decades.
